Tue 27 Oct 2009 Arjen Berkvens becomes new ENoP network coordinator

Last week (on 21 October) in Stockholm Mr Arjen Berkvens, director of the Dutch Alfred Mozer Stichting and Secretary General of the European Forum for Democracy and Solidarity, was elected the new network coordinator of the European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP). Mr Berkvens will fulfil this position for two years.
 
Moreover, Ms Andrea Ostheimer, from the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation, was elected by the ENoP members as deputy coordinator.

ENoP was established in 2006 as a cooperation structure, which serves as a communication and dialogue instrument between European political foundations and the institutions of the EU as well as civil society actors in the fields of democracy promotion and development cooperation. Further to that it provides services to its members to promote their integration into the respective programmes of the EU.
